Chef Bob “CB” Aungst, a native of New England with roots in New Jersey, kickstarted his culinary journey in upstate New York after a successful stint in real estate. While pursuing an interest in owning an inn, he earned a Culinary Arts degree from Schenectady College. During the program, he accepted an internship at the Kentucky Derby, where he quickly learned the ropes of large scale event and food & beverage management.
CB is a distinguished VIP celebrity chef, specializing in curating memorable culinary experiences for private events and gatherings. With a flair for sophistication and a keen eye for the art of luxury dining, he transforms each occasion into a masterpiece that transports guests to an unforgettable place. From intimate soirées to grand celebrations, Chef Bob elevates every event, leaving an indelible mark with his interactive culinary delights and personalized touch.
In his 30+ years in hospitality, CB has orchestrated 20 Kentucky Derbies, countless professional sporting events, concerts and conventions, Presidential Inaugurations, and handcrafted events for private and corporate clients across the U.S. and abroad. He has had the honor of serving four U.S. Presidents, members of the Royal Courts, dignitaries, politicians, professional athletes, and entertainers. Chef Bob is honored to have been named the Chef of the Year for Florida from a pool of 23 talented and well-known chefs from across the state.
